Anne With An E [Netflix, 2019] 4.0/5.0 |
Currently rewatching Season 1, I forgot enjoying it as much as I am now. It's such a perfect show for early August wishing it was already autumn. |

Death Becomes Her [Robert Zemeckis, 1992] 3.0/5.0 |
Should've watched this in October for my Halloween themed month. I've heard of this movie before but had no clue what is was about. Nevertheless I was not let down by the ridiculousness of this movie. |

Family Stone [Derek Jarman, 1986] 3.0/5.0 |
Craziest cast of characters I think I've ever seen. Edward's sister is sisters with Amy Adams whos brothers are Elle Wood's husband and Russell from New Girl. And Sarah Jessica Parker. And Diane Keaton. I think they did good with the characterization of each family member but their storylines lacked depth to really be invested in the family dynamics. Sarah Jessica Parker is so fun to watch her actually do and say things you think there's no way someone would be rude enough to do that. |

Fantastic Four [Matt Shakman, 2025] 4.0/5.0 |
Watched in theaters with Peyton. He teared up at the end, so cute XD I thought this contrasted other Marvel movies in the sense it was so human politically centric. Usually in outerspace shit goes down so fast and any moral challenge occurs between the superhero/villain. Here it's the superheros convincing "the human race" of their decisions, which I found to be lackluster as there isn't really an individual receiving opinion called out -- it was kind of they were speaking into a void responding to disapproval to then silent acceptance from a short monologue (not very moving). May or may not have been a prolife movie? |

Sinners [Ryan Coogler, 2025] 4.0/5.0 |
I watched this while putting together a lego flower set from my boss. I enjoyed this, particularly the scoring and the music. |
